Debbie Green was a 7 year old girl from Benwood, WV. She was like every other little girl... she loved going to school, cheerleading, and playing with her friends. Proceeds of the event will benefit a local recipient who suffers from leukemia. Start and finish lines located at Wheeling's Heritage Port. Start time is 7:00 pm. The course is USATF Certified. 5K fees are $20 prior to July 24th, 2014 and $25 after July 24th, 2014 and $30 race weekend. Packet pickup is August 1st from 4-6 pm and on race day 3-6 pm SHARP! You may register online through 7pm Tuesday, August 13th online at www.debbiegreen5k.com. There is also a printable application on the website.

This year's race will be timed by the The Runner's High using the championchip system. On race day, runners and walkers will be issued a rental computer chip, which is attached to the shoelace and worn throughout the race. Special mats at the finish line will record a finished time for each chip. Make sure you get the right chip assigned to you. Race chips are disposable and will not need to be returned.
